Lessons
Riding is a wonderful sport to build poise, confidence, posture and a great attitude about the rest of the world.

pin Our specialty is equitation training for the rider. We have trained many champion junior and amateur riders, some of whom have gone on to be professionals themselves. Whether you like Western, Saddle Seat or Hunt Seat, the quality of your riding will improve immensely from your first lesson.
Sondra on Ace
pin 45 years of experience teaching, training and showing Western, Saddle Seat, Hunter, Driving and Halter has produced a philosophy that is low key and very classical. We enjoy our riders and our horses. We find that communication is the key with no shouting, just a lot of patience.

pin Lessons for ages four and older are available all week, all year round in a lighted, covered arena. Our lessons for novice and beginning riders are one on one with an individual evaluation of each student. Our goal is to have the lessons be very progressive towards a positive control of both ends of the horse. The outcome will be an elegant soft seat. Our ground lessons include all phases of horse handling including catching, grooming, tacking up and vet work.

HS on Red
pin We recommend you wear Jeans. You must wear boots with heels and a helmet. We do have riding helmets to fit most riders.
For the winter months we recommend that you wear layers. You will get warm when riding in the winter! Gloves and long underwear are also recommended. A heated viewing room is available for family and friends to watch.

Brittany and Miki
pin We do encourage you to be on time for your lessons as we have other lessons that follow yours. We require that cancellations be 24 hours in advance, unless there is an emergency. If you cancel at the last minute it will throw the barn schedule off.

pin We are often gone on Saturdays to Horse Shows but we do welcome you to come and watch!

Riding lessons are a great way to enjoy horses without the cost of owning one. You or your child will have the opportunity to see how a horse will fit into your life. You will have the chance to learn all there is to know about the care, responsibilities and rewards of working with horses.
